More economical than Hardwood, they will work well with your family's active lifestyle as they are scratch resistant, humidity resistant and washable making them less prone to environmental effects. Made from a unique wood composite material, our locally made shutters are impossible to distinguish from real wood shutters. Our pricing is as good as or better than Chinese made plantation shutters.
They have 1-1/8 inch thick rails, not 7/8” like many other shutters. This means they are more dimensionally stable - they will not bow, warp, or crack. They also insulate well and do a great job blocking noise. They will not yellow with sun exposure like many low quality shutters.
